The only nationally discussed incidents of white/black racial killings this week turned out to be by African Americans, not white people. But everyone is pretending this is still all about racism by white police. And no one is addressing the REAL issue. The mind control of Christians and their lack of discipline to get all the facts before feeding fear to their followers.
A truly great conservative commentator – Kira Davis – filmed a heartfelt Facebook video on July 7th after the news of the Alton Sterling (Baton Rouge) and Philando Castilo girlfriend FB video. Like many others she immediately made the clarion call for a “talk” about racial issues, endorsing the notion that this was about race. Specifically white cops killing African American men whose only crime was DWB. (Driving While Black for the uninformed honkeys out there.)
In the next 24 hours we learned that neither of the cops were white. One was Hispanic and the other was Asian. We also learned that the immediate reports broadcast through social media were based on lies. In the case of Castile girlfriend “Diamond,” we got conclusive proof she lied that they were not pulled over for a tail light; that Philando had a conceal carry license. He did not in fact obey the police warning to freeze and that the cops were NOT more worried about their fellow boy in blue than the man they just killed. In fact, video has surfaced that the cop sho shot Philando as he reached for the gun in his lap also tried to revive him with CPR. We also learned that BOTH victims had long rap sheets including sexual assault (Alton Sterling was a convicted pedophile) and were wanted for questioning in violent crimes. Sterling had just threatened to kill a homeless man with his gun in the store parking lot moments before which was why the cops responded in the first place. Castile – a gang member with 47 traffic violations – matched the exact description of a BOLO for an armed robbery suspect nearby just days earlier.
But sure. Let’s now pretend this was all about race so we can pretend to be conscientious white people atoning for our supposed white privilege. God forbid we actually apologize for jumping to conclusions that fed the incidents causing 5 police officers to die.
Even CNN now publishes that recent shootings of blacks may have been provoked showing how it’s Obama and BLM who “pull the trigger” on premature claims of racism too quickly to incite violence and ignite a race war. But apparently this pastor wants to continue to make this about race instead of speaking the truth, and de-escalting fears among his followers.
Christian pastor Johnny Enlow posted this the night a black supremacist shot a dozen white Dallas policemen killing 5.
Friends, in light of the recent unconscionable killings of black men by policemen, the time has come for people of conscience and goodwill to come together- in prayer and in proper action- and to have a zero tolerance for things to remain status quo. Injustice cannot be tolerated and we must demand better. We can not just leave Black America with the burden of demanding justice. White America has to make the demand to it’s elected officials. Procedural overhauls must take place as to how policemen go about doing their jobs. New vetting processes must take place before one is accepted on the force. No doubt it is a minority of cops who are racist or who are the ones desiring confrontations- however that minority needs to be significantly reduced through new screening measures. The shooting of the Dallas police tonight is also a shocking tragedy and is a wrong that will in no way correct a previous wrong. At the end of the day good policemen and Black America are both paying the price for a disastrous criminal justice system that has made life very difficult for both. Horrible sentencing guidelines and disastrous prison policies are perhaps as much or more responsible for the frontline friction than any other overt racism- and this must now be seen, addressed and reformed. This is something that can no longer be tolerated. (see my John R. Enlow page for a video feed tonight of TD Jakes calling for a proper unified response).
Notice that his entire diatribe makes the assumption this is a racial issue. Note that the killing of 5 policemen enforcing law and order takes second place to two convicted criminals who refused to comply with the arresting officers.
When a comment was made on his post to ask for a retraction since neither of the incidents he misled his followers about were race based – he proceeded to double down with the half-truth that black people are pulled over more than white people. The truth?
… do cops racially profile blacks, wrongly and disproportionately stop them? Not according to the National Institute of Justice, the research arm of the Department of Justice. In its 2013 report, “Race, Trust and Police Legitimacy,” the NIJ found that 75 percent of blacks admitted that they were stopped for “legitimate reasons.” And it turns out blacks disproportionately commit traffic offenses, whether speeding, driving without a license, driving with expired tags, driving without the seat belt on or without a car seat for a baby, and so on. Numerical disparities, said the NIJ, result from “differences in offending” in addition to “differences in exposure to the police” and “differences in driving patterns.”
(Yes. They ARE pulled over more. But although they comprise 13% of the population they commit 38.5% of violent crime compared to 31.1% by whites although whites are five times as large an ethnic group. Stats.)
Christian Pastor Johnny Enlow DELETED a comment clarification to inform his followers of this fact and refused to retract his inflammatory racial false accusation against these policemen.
FACTS about cop violence and blacks.
The truth is that white people are 1.7 times more likely to get killed by a cop.
So we have a number of problems here. First, Christians genuinely WANT to do the right thing. If blacks are being wrongly persecuted they want to be on the “right” side of the issue. That is commendable. What’s NOT commendable is allowing pride and “confirmation bias” to interfere with your conclusions and those you evangelize to other people. Especially if you are entrusted with the noble position of a Christian leader – religious, political or otherwise.
Secondly, Christians are largely ignorant of the political scheme of Black Lives Matters and the socialistic fascists who have created a mind control operation to continue to inflame racial division for political purposes. I’m not sure how many are aware that the White House has openly held meetings with terrorist enablers and criminals. They also have invited cop hating rappers and the leaders of communist anarchists the New Black Panther Party. But we know now that there is more at play than the President and Attorney General skipping the funeral of Justice Scalia to meet with radical marxist influenced Black Lives Matter.
Hacked messages from the leaders of Black Lives Matter, who acknowledge they were hacked, show complicity in a conspiracy to create race riots inciting martial law for the purpose of keeping Barack Obama in office. This shouldn’t come as a surprise to those aware of George Soros handiwork contributing $30 Million to incite riots and helping to create Black Lives Matters. Soros has been behind the divisive destabilization of multiple countries like Hungary, Poland, Egypt and even the fake democracy ploy “Arab Spring” that ended up setting up overthrowing multiple governments into Islamic fascism. It is a planned strategy.
I would think Christians, even more than the public would be irate at the intentionally manipulation of the story to deceive people. in the Treyvon Martin case, the first thing the media did was circulate an innocent class picture taken years before and spun his discipline problems to seem almost adorable. But when current pictures surfaced, showing him much older, the MEDIA edited photos to make him more sympathetic. These are elaborate PR strategies at work.
Certainly there IS racism. A large black man with a gun will immediately trigger a defensive mindset just as a bald white biker with a motorcycle gang vest will. But the above statics prove it is NOT rampant. A white Sacramento man was killed by a cop the same day as Alton Sterling and not a single Christian pastor or pundit took the airwaves to declare fear and action against police because of that.
Since a white person is THREE TIMES more likely to be attacked by a black person than a black person by a white aggressor, WHY are all these Christians assuming this is just a “white problem?” 90% of black deaths come at the hands of OTHER blacks!
The black protestors at Black Lives Matter have been chanting for the DEATH of white cops for years now and even at the “peaceful” protest in Dallas where the 5 officers were assassinated.
And many unsuspecting Christians are “useful idiots” in perpetuating these false narratives of racial division that are overwhelmingly proven to be false. A short list:
- Geroge Zimmerman was Hispanic, not white; had a history of great relations with African Americans and was acquitted of the death of Treyvon Martin by a jury.
- Baltimore Police in the Freddy Gray have been acquitted – with a black judge presiding and an eyewitness who confirmed Gray injured himself in the van. The State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby withheld evidence and conducted “gross negligence” in her handling of the case against the white police officers.
- In the Ferguson case, the evidence overwhelmingly shows that Treyvon Martin robbed a convenience store, assaulted a police officer, ignored his order to stop and then ran at the cop when he had a gun on him. The town was flooded with anarchists intent on turning it into an issue of race before the first police report was written. Dozens of black owned businesses were burned.
With all of these embarrassing rushes to judgement, why won’t Americans stop for a minute to give facts a chance let alone “due process” – something we all are supposed to believe in?
Again, we’ve established that more whites are killed by cops, and more blacks are profiled per capita do to the simple fact that drastically more murders and crimes are committed by blacks. As the chart on the right shows, in most municipalities police actually kill LESS blacks than whites given their statistical responsibility for crime. And the media and all of us that watch it never seem to focus on the REAL issue. There personal responsibility of each person, whether it be cop, civilian or social media practitioner. THIS lady gets it.
And for those that ARE wrongfully killed by police, there is a criminal justice system. In the cases of Walter Scott, Samuel DuBose, Sandra Bland and Eric Harris all the police were brought to justice. The same can’t be said for the execution of a white Wyoming rancher. But pastors like Enlow and pundits like Davis don’t seem to either pay – or pray attention to that despite much more serious consequences to freedom. Even when it reaches to corruption by entire law enforcement agencies like state police and the FBI and not an individual officer.
You might risk being called a “conspiracy nut” for even suggesting people investigate the truth before coming to a conclusion. And this too is something the media mind control tries to use to kill the desire for truth.
As guilty as Davis was of rushing to judgement like the rest of the blogosphere did, Kira responsibly did something Pastor Enlow refused to do. Demand a discussion by ALL sides including those in the black community about the excessive black on black crime. Something this African American police officer is already doing:
I realized that they refuse to believe that most cops acknowledge that there are Bad cops who should have never been given a badge & gun, who are chicken shit and will shoot a cockroach if it crawls at them too fast, who never worked in the hood and may be intimidated. That most cops dread the thought of having to shoot someone, and never see the turmoil and mental anguish that a cop goes through after having to kill someone to save his own life. Instead they believe that we are all blood thirsty killers, because the media says so, even though the numbers prove otherwise. I realize that they truly feel as if the death of cops will help people realize the false narrative that Black Lives Matter, when all it will do is take their movement two steps backwards and label them domestic terrorist. I realized that some of these people, who say Black Lives Matter, are full of hate and racism. Hate for cops, because of the false narrative that more black people are targeted and killed. Racism against white people, for a tragedy that began 100’s of years ago, when most of the white people today weren’t even born yet. I realized that some in the African-American community’s idea of “Justice” is the prosecution of ANY and EVERY cop or white man that kills or is believed to have killed a black man, no matter what the circumstances are. I realized the African American community refuses to look within to solve its major issues, and instead makes excuses and looks outside for solutions. I realized that a lot of people in the African American lead with hate, instead of love. Division instead of Unity. Turmoil and rioting, instead of Peace. I realized that they have become the very entity that they claim they are fighting against.
I realized that the very reasons I became a cop, are the very reasons my own people hate me, and now in this toxic hateful racially charged political climate, I am now more likely to die,… and it is still hard for me to understand…. to this day.
Here’s the full post…
Some lessons are true now as they were 2 years ago including don’t believe everything you see/hear especially if it comes from the news media. Even liberal news groups admit you can’t trust unoffical reports as fact.
And if you are a Christian – much less a pastor with a higher responsibility for the truth – there is no excuse to focus on racial division when the Truth always has been focusing on Jesus for your Righteousness and Justice.
And as US citizens who give power to our government, we ARE responsible to demand it’s integrity, honesty and fairness. In that way we are each charged as judges to carry out the authority we are given to elect public servants who will do just things and create just laws. But our authority must be what we have – not what we want, except when – as our founders did – to accept the responsibility for rebellion.
Where is the grace of Christ – and the love for one another that Jesus said would be the PR campaign for the world to identify his people? What love is there in wrongly accusing police officers who are statistically far more likely to suffer injustice than any individual?
Everyone is discriminated against. The poor for being poor and the ugly for being.. well, ugly. Ask the rich and they will tell you they also face unfair judgements. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ doesn’t advocate you demand that everyone else treat you the way you want to be treated. It suggests the radical notion that you “believe the best of all people” – including policemen. In fact it suggests one is a fool spouting off on a subject before knowing all of the facts.
I am encouraging all of us to quit acting the fool, and start bringing unvarnished truth in love – whether we are embarrassed by our past impetuousness or not.
“We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools.”
– Martin Luther King, Jr.
